Come and Celebrate a Swedish Christmas Dinner With Us! The Swedish Christmas dinner is the grandest feast of the year. For young and old alike. As Christmas eve approaches, all food is prepared and ready to be enjoyed. On every Swedish smorgasboard, we call it a Julbord, you will find oven-baked or boiled Christmas ham, meatballs, herring, marinated salmon, potatoes, eggs, variations of cabbage, crispbread, cheese, gingerbread, saffron, and much more.

The SCCC’s Chairman Lennart P.Kleine and the Board of Directors cordially invites you to this year’s very special Lucia Luncheon and 50th Jubilee Celebration. Come and enjoy a traditional Swedish Christmas buffet, accompanied by the obligatory singing of Schnapps songs. Be moved by Santa Lucia and her maids as they sing traditional Lucia carols.
SWEA Christmas Festival 2015 at the Harbourfront Centre

SWEA (Swedish Women’s Educational Association) Annual Swedish Christmas festival is back at the Harbourfront for its 33rd year. This event offers traditional crafts, cultural cuisine, and festive entertainment, including the Lucia Pageant where a children’s choir sings Swedish Christmas carols. There will also be a magic show and folk dancing. Traditional Swedish wares are available, with a range of items like glögg (a mulled wine) and Swedish clogs.
